During my recent stay at Thon Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings at the hotel's restaurant. As a marine biologist with a penchant for sustainable seafood, I value dining experiences that showcase local flavors and ingredients. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, the perfect setting for indulging in a delicious meal.One of the highlights of my dining experience was the breakfast buffet, which I must say was one of the best I have had in a while. The array of fresh and flavorful options truly set the tone for a day of exploration in the Nordic landscapes. From pastries to smoked salmon, every bite was a delightful treat for the taste buds.In addition to the exceptional breakfast, the hotel's lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere where I could unwind with a cup of coffee after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail in the presentation of drinks at the bar/lounge, Statsraaden Bar & Reception, added a touch of elegance to the overall experience.Thon Hotel provided a delightful culinary journey that complemented my stay in the beautiful surroundings of Norway.
