During my recent stay at Thon Hotel Orion over the Christmas period, I was truly in my element. Nestled right in the heart of Bergen, the location was perfect for exploring historical sites like the charming St Mary's Church, just a short stroll away. My room offered a stunning view of the harbor, and I adored waking up to the twinkling lights of the Ferris Wheel. The hotel felt like a warm hug, with a cozy lobby that featured a delightful fireplace, perfect for unwinding after a day of nautical pursuits. I was particularly impressed by the generous and delicious breakfast; it had everything from healthy options to hearty Scandinavian delights. The friendly staff were truly dedicated to making us feel welcome, embodying the good-natured spirit I've come to love about Norway. I loved sinking into the cloud-like bed after a long day of exploring, and having free WiFi and a well-stocked minibar made it feel extra luxurious. When I return to Bergen, I'd certainly choose Thon Hotel Orion again for its comfort and charm!
